Future Issues and Challenges

New hospital on Ewingsdale Rd - abutting residential areas

Major re-working and widening of the Pacific Highway, increased traffic
Ewingsdale Rd Sports Fields, with major events being held there
Ewingsdale Rd - traffic growth, widening, bikeways
New suburb being planned on all the land from Sunnybrand to Belongil

Achievements

Ewingsdale Rd - lowered speed limits

Pacific Highway Noise wall
Prevention of several undesirable commercial developments
Restoration & self-sufficiency of the Ewingsdale Hall
Street signage and many other Council matters
Representation of community views on Hospital, Highway and Power Lines upgrade to Council and relevant agencies - continuing.
Bikeway to Byron - continuing
