Ewingsdale Community Survey – 2020
A big thank you to everyone who participated in the online survey back in January.
There was considerable interest in seeing more community events at the Ewingsdale Hall; suggestions included: art/craft activities, book club, playgroup, film nights, local craft markets, BYO picnics and trivia evenings.
The Ewingsdale Community Association does not have the resources to run these events. However, Ewingsdale residents are welcome to hire the hall themselves, see https://ewingsdale.org.au/hiring-the-hall/ for availability and booking information.
At the moment the hall regularly holds events such as dancing and yoga. Please see the What’s On page for more information http://ewingsdale.org.au/annual-events-and-achievements/.
The main non-hall related feedback we had about our suburb was about the speed of cars on our roads. The association has recently written to the local Highway Patrol asking for increased patrols in Ewingsdale. Please could everyone be mindful of the 50km speed limit. The lower speed limit means greater safety for all road users, animals and more peace and quiet for people living in the area – thank you.
All those who had asked to be placed on our mailing list have now been added.
