Ewingsdale Community will be hosting this years “Biggest Morning Tea “at the Fig Tree Restaurant, Sunrise Lane Ewingsdale on Wednesday23rd.May from 10am.The morning tea is to raise funds for the Cancer Council. Last year over $700 was raised and they hope to beat that amount this year, the cost is only $8.00 with the cakes and refreshments being donated by the local ladies. The Fig Tree Restaurant has supported this event for many years making something special of the day.There will be a guest speaker from the Cancer Council and raffles on the day to help make this a fun morning, Bookings are not necessary but we are happy to make large tables so friends can be together, so please come along bring your friends. The Annual General Meeting of the Ewingsdale Community Association will be held one month later than usual, on Monday the 4th of June at 7 PM. The election of office bearers will be the main agenda item, and as yet no nominations have been received for the positions of:
President, 2 vice presidents, and secretary/ treasurer. If you feel that you could contribute to the community by volunteering for one of these positions then your nomination would be most welcome. In addition, the hall committee is usually elected at the AGM.
Following the formalities, normal agenda items will be addressed.
